Skeeby Lodge is an oasis of rest and relaxation when travelling to or from the Lake District or Scotland. If you are visiting the Yorkshire Dales, we are ideally located, Skeeby is just 2 miles from the market town of Richmond, Swaledale, North Yorkshire and just 1.5 miles from Scotch Corner. 

Richmond, a Georgian market town with its Norman castle and the country's oldest functioning Georgian theatre is at the lower end of Swaledale with its splendid dales scenery, riverside and hill walks.

The old farmhouse, set amongst fields has been sympathetically renovated to provide guest accommodation in the west wing of the house overlooking open and tranquil countryside.

We wish to meet guests needs with respect to the breakfast menu and time (so if you want a lie in, you've got it).

Help yourself to cereals, juices and grapefruit followed by a traditional breakfast of free range eggs, local dry cured bacon, sausages, toast and copious supplies of fresh coffee and teas.

If you prefer something lighter try our smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Each of the four guest bedrooms are at ground level with individual front doors giving you freedom to come and go as you please.

All rooms are centrally heated with en-suite facilities of shower, WC, wash basin, colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities. 

The rooms are individually furnished with comfortable beds, ample pillows, duvets and laundered bed linen. A family room is available.

There is ample parking in our grounds.

Leave the A1 at Scotch Corner and take the A6108 to Richmond. After 1.25 miles
turn left onto Scurragh Lane. We are located on the right after about 0.3 mile.
